What is Social Value and Why is it Important?

How it works
We have two distinct social value pledges that can be applied to our training offering. Each course that you book through Challenge-trg Skills gives you the opportunity to give back to your local community through free training provision or through supporting vulnerable members of society helping improve their lives and prospects.
“Lift Up” Community Upskilling Pledge
The “Lift Up” pledge focuses on upskilling people through free training provision. If you book 50+ FLT places, we will deliver a FREE L2 Social Value course for 12 people in your local community.

“Lift” Homelessness Support Pledge
The “Lift” pledge is designed to provide shelter, support, and pathways to employment for those experiencing homelessness. For every 5 x Forklift Truck (FLT) or First Aid course learners booked from our Commercial Training Brochure, we pledge a donation to the Digital Poverty Fund, including support to our charity partners Rise Up.
