Job Roles with Lakeland
Hiring for Warehouse Operatives
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be making sure customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition. You’ll join a team processing high-volume best sellers from the warehouse floor.
- Picking & packing items ready for distribution, meeting set targets
- Moving cages, unloading products and filling warehouse shelves
- Boxing products on a line, wrapping and securing items for shipping
- Preparing heated airers and other large products for delivery
- Manual lifting, pushing, pulling and using pallet trucks
- This role requires spending long periods standing, walking, lifting and moving both light and heavy goods.
- Using handheld scanners, tablets and computers
- Keeping your area clean and organised, always following strict health & safety standards
Ideal Candidate
Lakeland are looking for people who are:
- Comfortable spending long periods standing, walking and handling goods
- Confident using basic tech like scanners and tablets
- Attentive to detail, reliable and keen to learn
- Good communicators, with basic maths skills
- Aware of health & safety, willing to use manual pallet trucks
- Aged 18+ and eligible to work in the UK
No previous warehouse experience? Full training is provided for you.
