Our client is recruiting Warehouse Operatives for consistent weekday evening shifts, ideal for anyone looking to add extra income around other daytime commitments.

Position: Warehouse Operative
Location: Kendal LA9 6NS
Pay rate: £12.71 per hour
Weekday Evening Shifts
Monday to Friday: 18:00 – 22:00
4‑hour evening shifts
20 hours per week

Warehouse Operative Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition. You’ll join a supportive, fast‑paced team handling high‑volume best‑selling products.

What you’ll be doing:
Picking and packing items accurately to meet targets
Boxing, wrapping, and preparing goods for dispatch
Loading, unloading, and moving stock using cages and equipment
Using handheld scanners, tablets, and basic computer systems
Manual handling, including lifting and moving items
Preparing items such as heated airers for home delivery
Maintaining a clean, safe workspace and following all H&S procedures
What we’re looking for:
Comfortable with standing, walking, lifting, and physical work
Able to handle light to heavy items safely
Willing to use manual pallet trucks
Reliable, detail‑focused, and keen to learn
Basic numeracy and confidence using simple computer equipment
Health & Safety aware
Aged 18+ with the legal right to work in the UK
PPE required (provided by us)
